Full of hatred because of Rick’s untimely death, most of his loved ones blame August for what happened. But since he’s still in a coma, they can’t confront him yet. Arnold, however, has already threatened to sue August for assaulting both him and Rick. To make matters worse, Mr. Alejandro prohibits Keeno from associating with April because he also sees as an enemy just because she is August’s sister. In a similar vein, Fifi refuses to talk to April when they happen to see each other in the hospital.

April tries to put up a brave front and even urges Keeno not to argue with his father about their situation anymore. But then she realizes that things will get worse once August wakes up. As such, she begins to wish that her brother wouldn’t stir from his coma as yet to avoid the hatred of Rick’s family. When Yang hears her voice her fears though, she insists that she feels in her heart that it wasn’t August who killed Keeno’s brother. But how will they prove this once a trial ensues later on? Keeno is supposed to tell April that it was he and Jessica who killed her father in a hit and run accident two years ago. But April senses that whatever he is about to say would ruin their blossoming relationship so she begs him to just forget about it for now. Soon after that, they are happily chatting again until Yang suddenly arrives asking for August’s whereabouts. She then reveals to April the true nature of her job and how August recently found out about it.

Unbeknownst to them, August has returned to the bar to seek retribution for Arnold’s indecent behavior towards Yang. He chances upon him in the underground parking lot and immediately attacks him with a baseball bat. They are fiercely hitting each other when Rick turns up and helps Arnold beat August up. Moments later, Jhun and Ashley also arrive to stop the brawl. While Ashley is calling for help though, Jhun unthinkingly joins the fight seeing that his friend August is being beaten to a pulp.

Except for Jhun, all three are sent to the hospital in a critical condition. Much later however, Arnold and Rick have woken up from their coma and have spoken to their respective loved ones. This enrages Yang at first because August is still unconscious and it seems that he wouldn’t come out alive with the wounds that he acquired. But to everyone’s shock, it was Rick who failed to make it as he lasted only long enough to see his beloved Fifi for the last time. How will his death affect the lives of the people around them? Who will take responsibility for his death? Will this break Keeno and April further apart? [ Your Song presents 'My Only Hope' ]

The discovery that it was he who killed April’s father fills Keeno with so much guilt he wants to die with it. He is about to jump in a raging river when Rick suddenly arrives and stops him. Furious that he attempted to commit suicide, Rick demands what on earth Keeno is trying to pull this time. With a tormented face, the latter then gushes out that it was April’s father who died in the hit and run accident that he and Jessie got involved in years back. Keeno further claims that he would rather die than see the hatred in April’s eyes when she learns what he has done.

Meanwhile, Yang had a hard time convincing August to let her go to the bar to deliver the goodies of her valued customers there. After much arguing with him, she rushes to work and immediately entertains the male audience with her seductive dance routine. Unknown to her, August has followed her to the bar and catches her almost stripped naked and being ogled by lascivious men in the crowd including Arnold. To make matters worse, the latter steals a kiss from her during the booty-shaking contest which happens to be the main attraction that night.

Though a fight between Arnold and August was immediately brought to an end that time, Yang didn’t know that the two comes to a skirmish again right after August brought her home. Will their mad fistfight result to something they will both regret? [ Your Song presents 'My Only Hope' ]

After stalling for so many years, Jhun finally professes his love for April days after he got a salary raise. Unfortunately, his confession came too late for she’s already in love with Keeno whom she went out with that same night. April also reminds him that the last time they talked about the real score between them, Jhun wanted to be just friends; so she has decided to let go of her feelings for him and move on with her life.

As it happens, Keeno has already taken his place in April’s heart now that they have become an official couple. Unfortunately, her brief but horrible encounter with his dad at the spa deters her from making their relationship public knowledge just yet. Though against his will, Keeno agrees to go by her rules while she’s adjusting herself to their newfound romance.

In return, April agrees to go with him for a weekend getaway back in Boracay where they first met. To her surprise, Keeno treats her to a romantic dinner date by the beach reminiscent of the one they had before. As it is, he wants to make up for being such a difficult Prince Charming in the past.

Things have been going well so far until Keeno freaks April out with his statement about not wanting to live anymore if ever their relationship falls apart. How will April make him understand that she’s just afraid of his father’s dislike towards her? Can Keeno fight for her once his father refuses to accept April as his girlfriend? When April filed for a leave of absence, Keeno can’t help but miss her calming presence in the spa. He’s so used to seeing her everyday that he decides to just spend the day at her humble abode while she takes care of August who’s suffering from a hangover. And to April’s shock, he easily makes himself at home and keeps on ordering her about. April lets him stay though if that’s what it would take for him to loosen up and shed his usual dark mood.

At the end of the day, however, April tells him that having him around proves to be stressful not only for her but for Yang and August who need to work out their problems sans Keeno’s disturbing presence in the house. As such, Keeno realizes his oversight and makes it up to them by showering them with brand-new appliances the next morning! Despite April’s protests, Keeno insists to give it to her in exchange of her promise to always be by his side cheering him up.

Apparently, Keeno is slowly falling in love with April for she’s the only person who is able to pull him up from his miseries. Only she has refused to give up on him even when he’s being difficult to deal with. April, in turn, is drawn towards his self-assured ways so different from Jhun’s constant indecision towards the real score between them. After convincing Keeno to manage the spa, everyone thought that it would pave the way for him to start afresh. However, all he does inside his office is to zone out with his loud and disturbing music echoing throughout the center. He even translates his negative energy to a rebellious kid who’s having a difficult time coping with his parents’ painful separation. Only April is able to get through Keeno’s indifference as she confronts him about his irresponsible behavior. And to her surprise, Keeno responds well to her dressing-down and lets her in on his highly-guarded secrets.

With this turn of events, Fifi’s so delighted that she even encourages April to be her replacement especially after she discovered her natural gift for healing. Apparently, Fifi is planning to migrate to Canada soon. Rick, who’s deeply in love with her, is crushed with her decision because there’s nothing he can do to change her mind. In a similar vein, August and Yang’s relationship is on the rocks due to the latter’s unexpected pregnancy. August proposes marriage but Yang is opposed to the idea since they’re both not ready for such a commitment at this point in their lives.

Back in Manila, Jhun helps April get a job as a utility girl in a spa where he works as a cook. This paves the way for them to be friends again since April can now help Yang in their expenses at home. At the same time, she’s happy to be working in a wellness center for her mom had been a renowned healer when she was still alive. In fact, April’s eagerness to learn quickly endears her to Fifi who tells her all she needs to know about the deceased owner (Rosario) of the spa known as the Glorious Wellness Center.

The fact that her Prince Charming (Rick) in Boracay happens to be the son of Rosario as well as the heir to the Alejandros’ lucrative businesses shocks April to the core. She begins to fantasize that he could really be the one she’s waiting for. But the biggest surprise of the day arrives when she encounters Keeno right outside the spa and takes him inside for some little R&R after a hard day’s work. Little did she know that he is Rick’s brother and will be replacing Mrs. Dominguez as the General Manager of the spa soon after that.

All her life April waited for Jhun to make her his very special girl. She refrains from entertaining other guys because they’ve promised to be with each other when they are old enough for a relationship. So when Jhun invites her to a romantic date by the pool, April thought that her much-awaited night has finally arrived. But to her dismay, it turns out that he’s still not ready for a commitment and they can only be friends for now. As such, April vows that Jhun will rue the day she’ll find someone else for she will not wait for him much longer.

In the meantime, Keeno blames himself for Jessie’s death—that her fall from the cliff is not just an accident but suicide. Despite Arnold’s words of consolation, he tearfully claims that he should have been there for her when she needed him most. His grief pervades his whole being and not even Jessie’s brother or his own family can stop him from feeling miserable. Add to his painful childhood memories, Keeno decides to end his life as well by drowning himself in his bathtub. [ Your Song presents 'My Only Hope' ]

Five years after her father’s accident, April manages to celebrate her birthday with the only family that she’s got. Though she can’t help feeling sad, her brother and two of their friends cheer her up with their positive outlook. Adding up to her good fortune that day is the radio announcement of her win in a Hawaiian Princess contest where she gets an all-expense-paid trip to Boracay for four.

But it turns out that Rick—son of a wealthy business tycoon—who should have been April’s Prince Charming is not available for the event. So she ends up dating Keeno instead, thinking that he’s just a paid talent. Nevertheless, April is determined to make the most out of her “fairy tale” experience. To the point that she encourages Keeno to pose for the cameras as if they’re really enjoying each other’s company.

Unknown to April, Keeno has merely agreed to his father’s plea to take Rick’s place. He happens to be in Boracay at the time, hoping for some peace and quiet with his girlfriend, Jessie. As it is, they are still haunted by the hit and run accident that they have been into five years ago. Yet despite his woes, he can’t help but be affected with April’s infectious laughter. Even her story about how she and her brother were recently orphaned has made him laugh since she was able to relate it to the steak that they were eating and how the cow’s offspring must have felt when it was slaughtered.

Just when their date is starting to get pleasant, however, Arnold interrupts them with the news that Jessie is missing. They are yet to discover that she has gone to the steep rock formation near the beach to commit suicide because of her guilt over killing a stranger. The thought of Keeno comforting her all this time has suddenly changed her mind though. But it’s too late because she accidentally falls off the cliff and into her death.
